India International Leather Fair 2008

For the first time, USHSLA will be exhibiting at the India International Leather Fair to be held January 31 - February 3, 2008 in Chennai, India.  At least 400 exhibitors are expected to attend (138 from foreign countries) covering 7325 square meters of exhibit space.  All the lastest and most innovative leather goods will be displayed.  There will also be pavilions, fashion shows, discussions and seminars.  USHSLA will be presenting its own seminar on the high quality and benefits of using U.S. hides.  For more information you may visit the India International Leather Fair web site.

Asia Pacific Leather Fair 2008

The 2008 Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) will be held March 31 - April 2, 2008 in Hong Kong. Once again, USHSLA is making plans for a pavilion style corridor, which will allow participating members to attain their own private spaces within the USHSLA pavilion. There will be 40-plus countries participating at APLF with 1,200 leather industry companies traveling to Hong Kong to attend the exhibition.  Over 20,000 buyers will see the complete spectrum of the leather sector featuring the latest technology and products for leather making and footwear, as well as the widest range of leathers from around the globe displayed under one roof.  If you would like more information please visit the APLF Web site or contact Susan Hogan.

All China Leather Exhibit 2008

The leading showcase for China's vibrant leather sector will be celebrating its 10th anniversary!  The exhibit will take place September 3-5, 2008 in Shanghai.  Similar to the show in Hong Kong, USHSLA will have its own pavilion which will allow our members to exhibit in their own private spaces.   Last year the show was a great success with 1,193 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions.  For more information please visit the ACLE Web site or contact Susan Hogan.

29th Annual Meeting

The United States Hide Skin and Leather Association is hosting its 29th annual convention October 2-3, 2008 at the Swissotel in Chicago, Ill.
